First laser installed in CALT

Installation and testing of the first laser system in CALT was completed on July 15, 2021, and CALT researchers successfully completed training.

It is a continuous Ti:sapphire laser that will be used in the Laboratory for quantum simulators and sensors. The laser system includes two Sirah Matisse CR lasers with more than 3.5 W of output power, and is pumped by Spectra-Physics Millenia eV25S laser.
