Location

CALT will be located at the Institute of Physics in Zagreb (which consists of 3 separate buildings connected by outer corridors), as an integral part of the Institute. CALT location at the Institute of Physics is advantageous due to the already existing core laser infrastructure and research expertise, but also with respect to the immediate Institute’s surroundings which includes Ruđer Bošković Institute (key research institution in natural sciences in Croatia), and Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Geophysics (Faculty of Sciences, University of Zagreb) as adjacent buildings.
