Optical Reference System (ORS) installed

Installation and testing of the optical reference system (ORS) was successfully completed on December 3, 2021.

The ultra-stable optical reference system (ORS) by MenloSystems provides ultra-narrow-line laser light with outstanding frequency stability and will be used in the Laboratory for Quantum Simulators and Sensors.
